Buy Local Scarborough’s Mission is to support locally owned, independent businesses, to maintain our unique community character, provide continuing opportunities for entrepreneurs, and to build a sustainable local economy. We work to educate citizens about the importance of the local economy, culture, and social fabric. We work to give voice to locally owned, independent business by providing a group branding, promotion, and advertising and provide the same advantages that national chains enjoy. We work to create strong relationship between our members, citizens, local government and media. Our membership is growing at a steady pace. With this growth, we have been able to accomplish more, and have a larger impact upon our community.
